The liver twins: Different ages, races and backgrounds but they have one thing in common - the transplanted organ they share


Their lives became irreversibly intertwined eight years ago, on October 17, 2003, when they became recipients of a lifesaving liver transplant – astonishingly, sharing two parts of a single organ between them.
