If there is something improper in the friendship of Liam Fox and his self-styled 'assistant' Adam Werritty — as Fox now admits — surely the Prime Minister ought to have heard about it while about it in Opposition, never mind government. PETER MCKAY thinks it quite possible that - because of his political enmity with Fox - the PM felt he shouldn’t pry too closely.
