Quango chiefs take payoffs of up to �275,000 (and just 2,500 of 700,000 workers go in 'bureaucratic bonfire')


Labour's Tristram Hunt, pictured, described the 'bonfire' as a 'clammy Sunday barbecue' as it was revealed the closure of dozens of public bodies has already cost taxpayers almost �70million.
